Hi, I'm Tee.
Hi, I'm T. Maxwell, founder of T Maxwell Junk Removal & Cleanouts. My path into this work wasn't planned. Before becoming an entrepreneur, I spent years working with people: in corrections as an activities coordinator in a men's prison, supporting individuals with severe mental health diagnoses, working with children on the autism spectrum, and helping elderly individuals living with dementia and Alzheimer's.
After leaving my full-time position, I moved into real estate. While helping a client through a property transaction, they needed junk removed from a property. I saw a chance to help, rented the equipment I needed, and got the job done. That experience sparked something I hadn't expected, and in 2019 I officially launched T Maxwell Junk Removal & Cleanouts.
When I started, I didn't have a fleet of trucks or years of experience. I bought a pickup truck and rented trailers and box trucks whenever larger projects came along. At the time I barely knew how to back up a trailer, but I learned quickly, figuring things out one challenge at a time.
Over the years, I've realized this business isn't really about the items we remove. It's about people. Every cleanout tells a story. Every project is a life transition: a fresh start, a difficult chapter, or a new beginning. Many of our customers call when they're overwhelmed and unsure where to begin. That's where we do our best work. We listen, create a plan, and help lift some of the weight off their shoulders.
Something that has always mattered to me is making customers feel comfortable in their own homes. We've all had service providers who show up, do the work, and leave without ever making a connection. I never wanted our company to feel that way. We take time to talk with our customers, connect with their families, and play with their pets, because people matter.
Having grown up in West Philadelphia and lived in Delaware County for nearly two decades, I take pride in serving the communities I know and love. Today we specialize in estate cleanouts, hoarder house cleanouts, full property cleanouts, basement and garage cleanouts, demolition, and junk removal throughout Delaware County, the Main Line, Philadelphia, and the surrounding areas.

What we stand for
People, not junk
This work has never really been about the items. It's about the person, the family, and the story behind every home. We're here to provide relief, not just a pickup.
Comfortable from the first call
We talk with you, connect with your family, and even play with your pets. From the first phone call to the final sweep-up, the experience should feel personal.
We show up and follow through
We give you a day and a window, confirm before we arrive, and do what we said we'd do. Clear communication is the whole job.
Relief, not promises
We don't make promises. What we provide is relief. Relief from clutter, from stress, from overwhelming situations, so you can take the next step forward.
A bigger vision than junk removal.
My goal goes beyond hauling. I hope to one day open a warehouse where items can be sorted, donated, refurbished, and redistributed to families in need. Every day we see furniture, household goods, and clothing that still have life left in them. I want to create a way for those things to help someone else while keeping usable items out of the landfill.
